What good is a transcription service if you need to regularly listen to the original audio to verify it? Because no technology can replace human "common sense", we do not use speech recognition software! Speaker-independent speech recognition is a cute "toy", but when you need reliability and accuracy there is nothing better than one of our agents manually composing each transcription -- personally and confidentially.

Our people will convert your audio into typed text, working around audio drop-outs, difficult accents, and background noise better than any speech recognition software application. We don't spend much money on advertising, but instead we re-invest in ongoing product development and our high customer service quality.  Being in business for more than 10 years, we've learned how to deliver on what we promise!  We do continue to evaluate speech recognition, but so far we are not impressed so we continue to utilize live people to achieve our high accuracy expectations.

Please don't confuse us with those other companies who focus on medical or legal transcription, or those competitors who try to use "speech recognition" to cut costs.  Also, we do not charge per-line, per-word, or per-character. We transcribe voice mail, call recordings, and other recorded voice files at a billed rate per-second with no minimum call lengths, full minute rounding, or 30-second "message" increments which may appear cheaper at first, but add up to be more expensive the more you use it!

Although top readers read at speeds of above 1000 words per minute (wpm) with near 85% comprehension, they only represent 1% of readers. Average readers are around and above 250 wpm.  However, humans speak with an average speed of 150 wpm which will always remain many times slower than a good reader, without any consideration of the skimming and skipping possibilities.  But listening to a voice message is even slower, as you often need to replay the message several times or take notes while listening (and driving).

An example, let's assume your time is worth $15 an hour and you spend an accumulated half-hour each day listening to voicemail messages.  Approximately 20 messages a day, that's about 3,000 words a day and costs you over $150 a month of wasted time -- think about the other more important things you could be doing instead!  But if you could read those 20 messages, at 300 wpm, you'd cut that time (and cost) in half -- saving you over $75 and five hours every month!  That's almost an entire work day's worth of your time (and money) -- which adds up to at least two weeks vacation time every year!
